Sr. Juliette Nepveu (Sister M. Claire d"Assise), 95, died September 14, 2003, in St. George Manor, Manchester, after a brief illness.
Born on July 30, 1908, she was the daughter of Charles and Blandine (Kerouac) Nepveu.
Sister Juliette entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross in 1943 and made her final profession in 1950. She served in the Congregation of the Sisters Holy Cross for 60 years.
She taught in the elementary parochial schools under the direction of the Sisters of Holy Cross in Manchester, Suncook, Somersworth, Rochester, Gonic, Nashua, NH; Attleboro, New Bedford, MA; North Grosvenordale, Ct. She was also Principle and Superior in Gonic, NH.Sister Juliette earned a BA from Notre Dame College Manchester NH.
Sister Juliette retired to Holy Cross Health Center in Manchester NH, in 1997. She had been residing at the St. George Manor, Manchester NH.
Family members include a sister in-law, Claire Nepveu, of Nashua, NH;a nephew and a niece.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday September 17, 2003 in the Chapel of St. George Manor, 357 Island Pond Road, Manchester.
Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
