Juliette "Julie" Soucy

Juliette A. "Julie" Soucy, 88, of Manchester, died May 20, 2016 at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a period of failing health.

She was born in Goffstown, NH April 7, 1928 the daughter of Romeo and Ida (Charron) Lafond. She lived most of her life in Manchester and briefly lived in Laconia.

Julie attended local school and worked 26 years at Modutec. She also worked for the Amoskeag Mills and local shoe factories.

She was a member of St. Anthony Church for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Lionel E. Soucy, who died in 2004 and by a brother, Robert F. Lafond, who died in 2014

Family members include her brother, Edward J. Lafond of Bedford; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 27, 2016 in the chapel of Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
