June G. Lamontagne, 81, of Manchester, died December 23, 2020 , after a period of declining health.

Born in Brookline, CT on September 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Aleksander and Alma E. (Laaksonen) Salong-Salony. She was a graduate of Killington High School, Killington, CT, as well as Zion Bible Institute of Rhode Island. She worked as a secretary for S. NE District AG before retiring in1996.

June loved her role as Pastor's wife. She enjoyed entertaining, focused on hospitality and cared for those who were in need. She was very funny and very social. She enjoyed decorating and spending time with her family. June was very sweet, generous, giving and hard working and was a true "prayer warrior". Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

June was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerard Lamontagne in 2011. She was also the last surviving child of 10 children in her family.

Surviving family members include one son, Kenneth M. Babcock of Manchester; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Wenrich and husband David of Rumney; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours with masks and strict social distancing will be from 12 to 2 pm on Wednesday, December 30th at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester. A committal service will take place at 3 pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boston Harbor Community Church, 9 Salutation St., Boston, MA 02109.
