She was born in Manchester on November 24, 1997, the daughter of Matt Griffin Jr. and Tina (St. Gelais) Amyot. She was educated in the Pembroke school system and was a recent graduate of Three Rivers School.
Kasey will be remembered as an incredibly strong and determined young woman who achieved much in her short life. She enjoyed listening to music and loved going to school, where she earned the "student of the year" award and graduated Three Rivers with honors.
Family members include her mother, Tina Amyot and her husband Scott of Pembroke; her father, Matthew Griffin and his wife Kate of Hooksett; many step-brothers and sisters; her maternal grandparents, Bob and Priscilla St. Gelais of Bedford; her paternal grandmother, Doris Griffin of Manchester; Scott's parents Lucille and Roger Amyot of Pembroke; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Kate's mother, Grandma "B" for her kindness.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, Auguat 25, 2012 in St. John the Baptist Church, 10 School St, Allenstown. Burial followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Hooksett.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her memory to The Jimmy Fund, care of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
