Katherine M. "Kay" (Donahue) delGiudice, 73, of Bedford, died February 11, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
She was born in Boston, MA on June 2, 1943 to Michael and Katherine (McCarthy) Donahue. She grew up in Brookline, MA and graduated from Brookline High School. She lived in Manchester and Bedford for many years. She also summered on Paugus Bay in Laconia and wintered in N. Fort Myers, FL.
Kay worked for the law firms of Craighead & Martin and Raymond Kelly.
She was a very active communicant of St. Therese Church in Ft. Myers and was an avid fan of the N.E. Patriots. She enjoyed time spent with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and other activities.
Kay was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Ann Donahue and a granddaughter, Lily Katherine Anderson.
The family includes her husband of 52 years, Robert O. "Del" delGiudice of Bedford; two children, Kerry Anderson and her husband, Troy, of Bedford and Tristan delGiudice and his wife, Kristin of Hollidaysburg, PA; four grandchildren, Emma and Brady Anderson and Jackson and Spencer delGiudice; many nieces and nephews including Patti Ann Clark and her husband, Patrick; and other extended family in Ireland.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Rd., Bedford. Private interment will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
