Kathleen Hermann

She was born in Lawrence, MA on December 29, 1928 to Arthur and Agnes (Griffin) McMullen. She grew up in Lawrence and attended St. Patrick High School. She lived in North Andover, MA, Manchester, NH, Ormond Beach, FL and Raymond, NH.

Kathleen had been a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed bowling, painting, foreign languages and traveled extensively with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.

She was married for 65 years to the Honorable Robert L. Hermann who died in 2011. Along with her husband, she was active in many civic and political organizations.

She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

The family includes two children, Robert L. Hermann Jr. and his wife, Cheryl, and Karen Towey and her husband, Kenneth; four grandchildren, Robert Hermann, Matthew Hermann, Sarah Young and Stephanie Gagnon; several great grandchildren; a brother, James Andrew McMullen; and niece and nephews.

SERVICES: A calling hour is Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester, NH. A funeral ceremony will follow immediately at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Private burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose, MA.
