Keith William Menzies, 28, of Deerfield, took his own life on May 20, 2021, to be with the Lord and leave the demons of depression behind.
Keith burst into this world, in Manchester, on June 26, 1992, full of life, love and smiles. He was the son of Janet D. Menzies and the late John M. Keller of Keene.
At the age of 2 his family moved to Deerfield, where over the years Keith enjoyed caring for a variety of animals and gardening. He especially loved his cats, legos and Pokeman as a child.
Keith attended Deerfield Community School, but decided Concord High School wasn't for him and earned his GED within a month. He loved the Boy Scouts. He started out as a Tiger Cub and left as a Star Scout. As a teenager, Keith taught himself to play bass guitar. He loved going to concerts, especially Warp Tours, and skateboarding at Rye Airfield Skate Park. He loved penguins, the ocean, driving his whip, listening to tunes and drinking Monster. Most of all, Keith loved all of family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Menzies of Deerfield; his sisters, Dianna Moher and husband Scott of Middleton, OH, Angela Joyce and husband Brian of Clarksville, TN and Katie Menzies, Deerfield; his niece, Rachel Joyce of Clarksville, TN; and his beagle "Bagel".
Keith will be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be forever missed.
