Kenneth B. Rhodes, Sr., 94, of Manchester, died August 9, 2022.

Born on October 24, 1927 in Endicott, NY, he was the son of Olin N. and Sarah (Brigham) Rhodes.  Mr. Rhodes grew up and attended local schools in Endicott and graduated in the class of 1945.  He attended New York Vocational -Technical School and Morrisville State College in Morrisville, NY, where he majored in Horology (watch repair & engraving).  Mr. Rhodes moved to Manchester in 1952.  He worked for IBM Corporation for 38 years in Customer Engineering.  Mr. Rhodes was an Army veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Social Harmony Masonic Lodge in Wareham, MA and New Hampshire Consistory.   He was past president of New Hampshire Arms Collectors and the New Hampshire Archeological Society.  During 1960 and 1970 he was a participant in an archeological study at the dig site of former New Hampshire Governor Smyth.  Mr. Rhodes was also awarded the Chester B. Price award in 1980, by the NH Archeological Society.

Mr. Rhodes was predeceased in death by his wife, Ruth J. (Farrelly) Rhodes in 1992 and daughter Jane Elizabeth Buck in 1991.

Members of his family include one son, Kenneth B. Rhodes, Jr., and wife Linda; two daughters, Gail Perreault and husband David, and Leigh Boucher and husband Mario; six grandchildren, Jeff and wife Jaclyn, Kristen and husband Daniel, Lauren and husband Scott, Rachel, Joseph and wife Leena, and Charles and wife Jessica; eleven great grandchildren, Carson, Jack, Harry, Charles, Cole, Sam, Rhodes, Lorelei, Bennett, Brandon, and Aislyn; and son-in-law Todd Buck and wife Judy.

SERVICES:  All services were private to family.  Mr. Rhodes was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH, with his beloved wife and daughter.  Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.  Memorial donations in his memory may be made to:  Meals on Wheels, 2 Industrial Park Dr., #2, Concord, NH 03301.  The family would like to thank the staff of Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
