Kenneth A. Harris, 72, of Manchester, died July 20, 2023 at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Berlin on March 2, 1951 to Donald and Irene (Poirier) Harris. He grew up in Berlin and lived in Manchester for many years. He served in the U.S. Army in the early 1970’s.
Kenneth worked for the Massachusetts Laborer’s Union for many years and for Sanel Auto Parts. He was a member of the American Legion Jutras Post and a life member of the Alpine Club, both in Manchester.
Ken enjoyed golf, playing pool, visiting casinos and rides in his convertible. He especially loved to sing karaoke and spend time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Gerry Harris.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Colleen (Deschuiteneer) Harris of Manchester; a step-daughter, Tabitha Brennan and her husband, Craig, of Winter Haven, FL; a sister-in-law, Sue Breton Harris of Gorham, nieces, nephews and more extended family.
Ken loved traveling up north when he could to visit his two nieces, Shelley Harris and Kari Harris Parent, along with his two nephews, Haden and Harrison.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday (7/27) from 4 to 6 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A cemetery committal service is Friday (7/28) at 10 a.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
