Kenneth W. Tenney, 62, of Manchester, died March 30, 2016 at Pheasant Woods Care & Rehabilitation, Peterborough, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Tewksbury, MA on April 29, 1953, to William and Lillian (Holt) Tenney, Sr. Kenneth was a graduate of Tewksbury High School. He worked in construction for over 25 years.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing and camping, and had a passion for cooking for family and friends. He was an avid sports fan, mostly for the NE Patriots, and played hockey and football throughout his school years. He was very sociable and funny, always looking for the fun in life. Kenneth could be very strong willed, but had a very big heart, and always cared for others. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Susan (Kronillis) Tenney of Manchester; three sons, Scott Tenney and wife Jen of Greenville, and Robert and Jeffrey Tenney both of Manchester; one granddaughter, McKayla Tenney of Greenville; one sister, Judy McDonough of Saugus, MA; two brothers, Donald Tenney and wife Karen of Raymond, and Ronald Tenney and wife Susan of Dracut, MA; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents; and brother, William Tenney, Jr.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: HOPE for NH Recovery, 40 Central St, Manchester, NH 03103.
