Kevin F. Allen, 63, of Manchester died August 23, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Manchester on April 8, 1958, he was the son of Edmond and Audrey A. (Boulton) Allen. He graduated from Trinity High School where he excelled at basketball and football and was elected into the school's athletic Hall of Fame. He attended Northeastern University on a football scholarship.
He served four years in the US Marine Corps as an MP and was awarded numerous medals and commendations.
He was proud to have worked with the Union Carpenters Local 339 in Boston for many years. He most recently had been working with the Union for JK Glass.
Kevin was an outdoor enthusiast. His energetic spirit, strength and endless energy enabled him to work hard and play harder. He loved hiking, mountain biking, skiing at Cannon and most of all, his annual tradition, camping with family and friends at White Lake State Park. He cherished time spent with his family and many friends and will be remembered for his larger than life personality and willingness to help others at a moment's notice. Kevin was a loving brother, father and husband and will be forever loved and missed.
He was predeceased by his parents and siblings, David Allen and Kathleen Langone.
Family members include his wife, Elizabeth (Bewley) Allen of Manchester; his children, Parker, Emily and Chloe Allen, all of Manchester; his brothers, Michael Allen and wife Melanie of Seabrook, Kelly Allen and wife Christina of Manchester; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
There are no public calling hours. A private committal service with military burial honors will be held in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at the family's convenience. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Friday, August 27th from 4 to 7 pm at Stark Mill Brewery, 500 N Commercial St, Manchester.
