He was born in Manchester, NH on May 9, 1989, the son of William A. Castelot Jr. and Gail (Scully) Siergiewicz. He attended McKelvie Middle School and was a 2007 graduate of Manchester High School West. After graduation, he attended the NH Community Technical College for 2 years.
Kevin had joined the NH Army National Guard in December of 2010 and was recently promoted to the rank of PFC for the 237th military police. He was also ranked as an expert marksman. Previously, he had been employed at the Irving Gas Station in Bedford.
He was a cherished son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. He loved adventure and was planning a trip this March with his close friends to Ireland. An avid sports fan, he loved snowboarding, waterskiing, and following the Bruins. He entered the National Guard to join his older brother in the military police unit.
He will be remembered for his positive attitude, wonderful sense of humor, love of life, and heart of gold. His infectious humor brought laughter and ease to every situation. His passing will leave a hole in all the hearts of the people he touched.
Family members include his father William A. Castelot Jr. of Manchester; his mother and step-father, Gail and John Siergiewicz Jr. of Amherst; his brothers, William A. Castelot III of Winston-Salem, NC and Benjamin Castelot of Bedford; his maternal grandfather Thomas Scully Jr. of CT and FL; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Road, Bedford. Burial will be at a later time at the convenience of the family.
