He was born in Brighton, MA, July 30, 1929, to Walter and Helen Kelly. He had been a Manchester resident the past 30 years.
Mr. Kelly served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He later earned a Bachelor degree from Southern NH University.
He worked at Tirrell Halfway House in Manchester for a number of years and later worked as a substance abuse counselor at the Manchester VA Medical Center for many years.
He was a member of the Manchester Expeditionary Brigade.
He leaves two brothers, Paul J. Kelly of Manchester, and Edward B. Kelly of Medford, MA; two sisters, Genevieve H. Kelly of Sudbury, MA and Trudy Civetti of Barnstable, MA; nieces & nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday, March 14, 2009 at St. Catherine Church, Manchester.
Burial was in the NH State Veterans Cemetery n Boscawen at the convenience of the family.
