Kevin Patrick Tucker, 82, of Goffstown, NH died August 7, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Born in Boston on July 30, 1939, he was the son of Albert K. and Alice (Tague) Tucker. He was educated in the Boston School system.
Kevin had a distinguished 32 year military career. He served in the US Army in Germany for several years prior to joining the NH National Guard where he retired as a SFC Sergeant First Class with the 197th Field Artillery out of Manchester. After moving to New Hampshire, he joined the Goffstown Police Department and had later worked for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department as a deputy.
He had also worked as a part-time police officer for the Boston Police Department tasked with K-9 training.
Kevin was an active member of the Arthur J. O'Neil Council #5112 of the Knights of Columbus and the Bishop Bradley Assembly #0626.
Family members include his wife, Ann (Corcoran) Tucker of Goffstown; his daughters, Susan Tucker of Goffstown and Carol A. Tucker of Goffstown; brothers, Ronald, Charles, James and his wife Candy, Gerald, John (deceased), Robert and his wife Laura, and Paul; sisters, Ellen Commesso, Jeannie Johnson and (Malcolm Johnson brother in law (deceased) Theresa Basler and Joseph Basler (brother in law) Alice Sheehan.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, August 13th at 11 am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
