L. Alan Hawkes

He was born in Boston, MA on September 6, 1952 to Lloyd and Shirley (Dern) Hawkes. He grew up in Scituate, MA then lived in Manchester for many years.

Mr. Hawkes was a printer who owned and operated Min-A-Print in Manchester for 30 years. He enjoyed golf, bowling and was a member of the cribbage league at Holiday's Bar and Grill in Auburn, NH for many years.

The family includes four children, Kelly M. Williams and her husband, Stephen, Shawn A. Hawkes, Christina M. Hawkes, and Keith D. Hawkes and his wife, Jessica, all of Manchester, NH; three grandchildren, Samantha Williams, Amanda Williams and Ryder Hawkes; five siblings, Timothy Hawkes of Marshfield, MA, Steven Hawkes and his wife, Patty, and Christopher Hawkes and his wife, Patty, all of Quincy, MA, Deborah Hawkes of Marshfield, MA, and Jeffrey Hawkes and his wife, Joanne, of Braintree, MA; four nephews, one niece and cousins.

A funeral ceremony was held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester, NH.
