Laura A. (Samson) Kelley, 80, of Bedford, died October 18, 2016 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on November 16, 1935 to Wilfred and Yvonne (St. Pierre) Samson. She lived in Manchester for most of her life before moving to Bedford three years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Francis A. Kelley in 2012; a daughter, Janet Kelley in 2002; and two siblings, Irene Petrin and Roger Samson..
Laura was passionate about her flower and vegetable garden and she enjoyed music.
The family includes three sons, James P. Kelley of Huntington Beach, CA, John H. Kelley and his wife, Christina, of Orange, MA and Frank E. Kelley and his wife, Kristen, of Londonderry; four grandchildren, Heather, Nicole, Nadia and Natasha; two siblings, Germaine Keefe of Berlin and Albert Samson of Auburn; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
