Laurence E. Dunker

He was born in South Boston on April 18, 1949, the son of Frederick and Marie (Lane) Dunker. He earned his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University.

Prior to retirement in 2003, Laurence had worked as a credit manager for the Gillette Corporation in Boston for many years.

He was an accomplished artist and singer who volunteered much of his time to support both St. Catherine and St. Marie Parish. He will be remembered as a man of deep faith who lived a life devoted to his Catholic principles. Above all else, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who cherished time spent with family.

Family members include his wife of 40 years, Mary (Kos) Dunker of Lincoln; two sons, Michael Dunker and his wife Jessica Barry of Manchester, Stephen Dunker and wife Megan Beauregard of Bedford; five grandchildren; his sisters, Carol Case and Christine McCafferty, both of New Jersey; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian was celebrated on Friday, April 5, 2013 in St. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
