Laureo P. Bourgoin

February 12, 1935 — August 11, 2012

Laureo "Larry" P. Bourgoin, 77, of Goffstown, died August 11, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Stanhope, PQ on February 12, 1935, the son of Joseph and Roseanna (Gosselin) Bourgoin. He attended technical school in Haverhill, MA and earned his Associate's Degree from Fitchburg State University.

After graduation, he served in the US Navy prior to his honorable discharge in 1963.

Larry had worked as a computer technician for the Raytheon Company in Andover, MA for 38 years.

He enjoyed round dancing, gardening, and will be remembered as a man who could fix anything. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.

Family members include his loving wife of 50 years, Janet (Courchesne) Bourgoin of Goffstown; his children, Shawna Harrington, her husband Brian and their 11 children of Bedford; Kenneth Bourgoin, his wife Susan and their 2 children of Florida; John Bourgoin, his wife Carrie and their 3 children of Hooksett, Daniel Bourgoin, his wife Elli and their 5 children of VA; three brothers and one sister; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in St. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave. Burial with military honors followed in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.

Flowers will be accepted. Donations may be made in his memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
