Laurette A. Belanger, 96, of Hooksett, died June 5, 2018, after a long period of declining health
She was born in Manchester on June 25, 1921, the daughter of Henry and Eva (Desmarais) Durant. She was educated in Manchester and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Laurette dedicated her life to her raising her family. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She also enjoyed making crafts in her spare time, as well as time spent walking with friends with Parks & Playgrounds in the spring and summer. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
Laurette was predeceased by her husband of 31 years, Albert A. Belanger in 1972; and her son, Donald Belanger in 1978.
Family includes three daughters, Annette Turcotte of Manchester, Jeanette Wagner of Manchester, and Lorraine Weeks and husband Richard of Candia; one son, Louis Belanger and wife Jeannine of Litchfield; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mable Courtemanche; and brother, Arthur Durant. The family would like to thank the team of caregivers of VNA Home Healthcare & Hospice; especially Henry, Mike, Chuck, and Chris. They would also like to thank Judith of Caregivers Assoc. for her many years of dedicated service.
