She was born in Manchester on Jan. 24, 1918, to Alexis and Maria (Grenier) Lacasse. She lived in Manchester until moving to Sarasota, Fla. in 1991.
Family members include four sons, Robert of Sarasota, Fla., Norman DMD of Washington D.C., Pierre of York, Maine, and Frank of Marietta, Ga.; three daughters, Denise Rosier of Sarasota, Fla., Janine Nehila of Tenafly, N.J., and Michele of Concord, Mass.; a brother Raymond Lacasse of Concord; and three sisters Liliane MacCallum of Alberta, Canada, Theresa Perron of Manchester, and Yvette Twohig of West Roxbury, Mass.; twenty-five grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Armand in 2007 and her daughter, Annette Harkins.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, February 21, 2011 in Saint Joseph Cathedral Chapel on Lowell Street in Manchester. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
