She was born in Manchester on October 18, 1942 to George and Irene (Guimond) Isabelle. She graduated from St. Anthony High School and lived in Manchester and Hooksett for many years.
She had worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company for many years and Rich's Department Store for several years.
Laurette attended services at the Precious Blood Monastery for many years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
The family includes her husband of 48 years, Donald A. Duford of Hooksett; three daughters, Denise Cumings and her husband, Michael, of Allenstown, and Annette Gregoire and her husband, Carl, and Murielle Tomsic and her husband, George, all of Manchester; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a sister, Pauline V. Hamel and her husband, Jacques, of Ossipee; two nephews, two great nephews and cousins.
