Laurette M. Ladouceur

Born in Manchester on July 16, 1916, she was the daughter of George and Sophranie (Turmelle) Marcotte. She lived in Manchester most of her life and in Somersworth for several years.

Mrs. Ladouceur worked at J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Manchester many years.

She was married to Roland Melancon who died in 1951, and George J. Ladouceur who died in 1998.

The family includes two children, Raymond G. Melancon of Manchester and Dianne Pratt of Somersworth; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two step sons, Robert Ladouceur of Manchester and Louis Ladouceur of Summerfield Florida; three step daughters, Diane Blanchard of Nashua, Elise Perras of Bedford and Anne Marie Andersen of Hooksett; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday February 13, 2008 at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
