Laurie A. (Mohn) Demere, 64, of Manchester, died August 18, 2018.
I lost my only daughter on this day. A mother should not have to bury her child, but as is written, "Thy will be done". The good Lord knows what he is doing.
She suffered greatly and with the patience of a saint. Never once did she complain or give up hope. You may now rest in peace my love. As for us, we shall never be truly happy again.
Laurie was predeceased by her dear father, Larry J. Mohn.
She leaves behind a sad and broken family including her mother, Frances A. Mohn; her brother, David E. Mohn; her son, Matthew A. Sconsa; her daughter, Elizabeth A. Leva; seven grandchildren, Katrina, Anna, Alana, Juliana, Tyson, Bronson and Jaymeson; one yet-to-be-born great grandchild, Little Ella Rose; other relatives and many friends.
SERVICES: All services were private including a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church and burial at Longmeadow Cemetery, both in Auburn.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
