Laurie H. (Belaski) Irish, 59, of Manchester, NH, passed away December 30, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer.
She was born in Manchester on October 4, 1958 to Jules and Claire (Ducharme)Belaski. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester and a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School, class of 1977.
Laurie was involved in various fields of employment including housekeeping, administration, customer service, and manufacturing. She was an active member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality at her lifelong church, St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Manchester and a member of the Mystic Angels fundraising team for the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed quilting, outdoor activities, traveling, reading, helping others, and spending time with family. She was a very generous, compassionate, selfless, and forgiving soul.
Family includes a daughter, Aimy L. Caswell and her husband, Edward Jr., of Manchester; two granddaughters, Cari Caswell and Alyssa Caswell; her father, Jules Belaski of Manchester; two sisters, Diane Allerdice and her husband, Stephen, of Manchester and Janine Poisson and her husband, Michael, of Spring Hill, FL; a brother, Raymond J. Belaski of Manchester; her Godparents, Donald and Helen Levasseur of Manchester; her fiancé, Carl Campbell of Manchester; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Claire; brother, Ronald Belaski; and nephew, Jeffrey Legendre.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
