Laurie A. Merrigan

Laurie A. (Chaplin) Merrigan, 57, of Hooksett, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

She was born in Stoneham, MA on April 22, 1958 to Ralph and Ruth (Myers) Chaplin. She grew up in Medford, MA and lived there many years before moving to Hooksett in 1987.

Laurie worked at Alpha-Bits Learning Center in Manchester. She loved gardening, sitting in the sun, and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Arthur Merrigan Jr. of Hooksett; four children, Michael B. Merrigan and his wife, Nicole, of Dover, Jill Reynolds and her husband, Craig, of Contoocook, Christopher L. Merrigan and his wife, Sandra, of Raymond, and Steven Merrigan and his fiance, Cathleen, of Epsom; seven grandchildren, David, Tessa, Alexander, Keegan, Megan, Allyssa, and Christian; sister, Nancy Chaplin of Medford, MA; and other extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Cynthia Chaplin.

The burial is private and will be at Head Cemetery in Hooksett.
