Lawrence V. Dahlquist, 87, died September 11, 2005 at the Greenbriar Terrace in Nashua.
He was born in Brockton MA on August 13, 1918, and was the son of Victor and Signe(Anderson) Dahlquist.
In 1936 he entered the Army and spent the next 28 years serving his country. He saw action in both World War II and Korea. He later worked as a cook at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea, MA and as a bus driver.
He was a man of few words who loved his family, and grandchildren. He enjoyed taking long rides in the car, often with no destination.
Family members include 3 daughters; Linda Cotto, of Peabody, Gail Michalski, of Billerica, Darlene Dahlquist, Chelsea; 2 sons Larry Dalhquist, of Billerica, Keith Dahlquist of, Revere; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.; a sister Helen Lasek, of FL; 3 step children.
He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Seekins in 2005, his first wife, Atheldra Smith in 1964; 2 sons Wayne Dahlquist in 1990, Gary Dahlquist in 1974.
A memorial service took place Saturday September 17, 2005 in St. Lukes Episcopal Church, 201 Washington Ave. Chelsea MA.
Burial was at the convenience of the family in Ft. Devens Cemetery.

Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
