Lawrence E. Moore

Lawrence E. Moore, 70, of Manchester, died April 21, 2002, at Catholic Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester, May 5, 1931, he was the son of William B. and M. Honora (Chapman) Moore. He was a lifelong resident of this city.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Moore was a die maker and had been employed by Swanson Die Co. He later went into partnership with Manchester Die Co. After retiring he worked part time at Merchant Motors in Hooksett.

He was a member of Manchester Post 79, and a past member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.

Family members include his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Dietz) Moore of Manchester; a daughter, Kelly Moore of the Virgin Islands; a son, Timothy S. Moore of Manchester; a grandson, Hunter Moore of Manchester; a brother, William L. Moore of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday April 25, 2002 in St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
