Born May 5, 1926 in Manchester, she was the daughter of Adelard and Valeda (Goulet) Cyr. She was educated in the local school system and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Velcro USA for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband Lenwood Savage.
Lea enjoyed gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of the AARP and a longtime communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In her life: Family members include three daughters, Suzanne L. Gagne and her husband Albert of Bedford, Carolyn I. Gagnon and her husband Richard of Goffstown, Janet M. Soucy and her husband Steven of Goffstown; one son, Gary L. Savage and his wife Lynda of Manchester; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Jonathan, Lynda, Lea, Nicole, Catherine, Emily, and Justin; two great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Jacob. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Laura Laframboise and Emelda Beliveau.
Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester, will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Seton Church on Saturday at noon, with the Rev. Monsignor John Quinn officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
