She was born in Manchester, July 23, 1912, to Alfred and Florence (Lemay) Laurendeau and was a lifelong resident.
A communicant of St. Anthony Church, she was involved in various organizations including St. Anthony's Parish Club 55, and the Sodality of St. Anne.
At the core of her many accomplishments was her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and seamstress. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the pleasures of family life.
She leaves three sons, Richard G. Soucy and his wife Claire of Hooksett, Ronald O. Soucy and his wife Edith of Dunbarton, and Paul M. Soucy and his wife Linda of Manchester; a daughter Janet T. Case and her husband Robert of Manchester; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters, Adrienne Soucy, Jeannine Maurier, and Rachael Benoit, all of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ovila Soucy in 1993. In addition she was predeceased by three brothers, Albert Laurendeau, Alfred Laurendeau, and Oscar Laurendeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday August 1, 2007 at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
