Lena C. Boisclair, 98, of Manchester died July 22, 2005 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on July 22, 1907, she was the daughter of Henry and Rosilda (Fortier) Laplante. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked at Queen City Shoe company for many years.
Mrs. Boisclair was one of the first residents of the Kalivas Apartments at 175 Chestnut St., Manchester. She enjoyed card playing and watching movies.
She was married to George A. Boisclair who died in 1970.
The family includes two nephews, Roger A. Gagne of Manchester and Robert H. Gagne of Goffstown.
A calling hour is Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 am. in St. Anne-St. Augustin Church, corner of Beech and Spruce streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
