She was born in Amherst on May 25, 1910 to Alphonse and Amanda (Lambert) Labonte and had resided in Manchester for most of her life.
She was educated in local schools and worked over 30 years as a senior accountant for Ferretti's Markets.
She was devoted to her mother, Amanda and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles and was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Family members include her son, Richard Lemay of Leominster, MA; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Adrien Lemay in 1941 and her second husband, Walter H. Lovering in 1956.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
