Leonide A. "Leo" Charland, 85 of Manchester, died July 10, 2003, at St. Teresa Manor after a lenghty illness.

Born November 17, 1917 in St. Francis Xavier, Quebec, he was the son of Leonide J. and Eugenie (Simard) Charland. He lived most of his life in Manchester.

Mr. Charland worked as a salesman for Table Talk pies for 25 years.

He was a member of the Teamsters Local 686 and the Southern NH Snowslickers Snowmobile club. He was a communicant of St. Therese Church.

Mr. Charland was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan.

He was married to Aurore(Paradise) Charland, who died in 2001.

Family members include a brother George Charland, of Milford; three sisters, Mariette Bossie of Lincoln, Lorraine Lavoie and Therese Lemire, of Manchester; a godchild, Diane J. Belcourt of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday July 14 in St. Therese Church. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
