Leo N. Pepin

July 17, 1937 — October 31, 2021

Leo N. Pepin, 84, of Bedford, NH died October 31, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Manchester on July 17, 1937, he was the son of Antonio and Beatrice (Boisvert) Pepin. He graduated from St. Marie High School in Manchester, after which he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He spent his military years in Florida, Texas and Spain.

Upon completion of his military service, Leo began his 29 year career at Anheuser-Busch Brewery as a brewer and a member of the Teamsters Local 633. He retired in 1999.

Leo loved spending time with his family at any and all occasions. His favorite place to enjoy family was at the beach. He was a lifelong fan of the Patriots and the Red Sox. As a season ticket holder to NH Motor speedway for over 20 years, he loved attending NASCAR races with his family. Leo was fortunate enough to travel with his wife and children to Spain every year, as well as take over 25 cruises all over the world.

He was predeceased by his brother, Donald Pepin, and his son-in-law Charles Fickert.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Maria (Gandul) Pepin of Bedford; his children, Thomas Pepin and wife Rhonda of Raymond, Tracy Fickert of Palm Coast, FL, Kevin Pepin of Weare; grandson Kyle Pepin of Raymond; his sister Rita Brault and husband Paul of Chicopee, MA; nephews, nieces and cousins.

Calling hours will be at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, on Sunday 11/7 from 4-7 pm. Face coverings are optional. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday 11/8 at noon at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Meetinghouse Road, Bedford. Burial with military honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to support veterans through Liberty House, 221 Orange St, Manchester, NH 03104 or to the American Cancer Society.
