Leona M. Miller

Leona M. (Chase) Miller, 81, of Merrimack died January 15, 2004 in her residence after a long illness.

Born in Warren on May 15, 1922, she was the daughter of Frank and Phoebe (Wright) Chase. She lived most of her life in Manchester before moving to Merrimack in 1997.

Mrs. Miller worked at Sanders Associates in Manchester for many years.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Manchester, the Fraternal Order of Eagles #290 and the AARP.

She was predeceased by her husband, David B. Miller in 1996 and by a foster son, Robert Veilleux in 1999.

The family includes two daughters, Nancy McGuire of Manchester and Victoria Desruisseaux of Merrimack; a son, Michael McGuire of Temple; a foster son, Charles Veilleux of Deerfield; two step sons, Charles Miller of Huntington, CT and David Miller of Oxnard, CA; 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Monday January 19, 2004 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. Burial of cremated remains was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
