Lila A. Romanishina, 77, of Manchester died May 28th, 2016 at the Elliot Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lviv, Ukraine on October 15, 1938, she was the daughter of Alexandr and Nina Yaroshenko.
Prior to retirement, she had worked as a secretary for many years. She was a member of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Lila will be remembered for her warm smile and generous nature. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished time spent with her family.
Family members include her husband of 54 years, Yaroslv F. Romanishin of Manchester; two children, Galina Tolstenko and Oleg Romanishin, both of Manchester; two grandchildren, Dennis Tolstenko and wife Megan, and Andrew Romanishin; one brother, Alexandr Yaroshenko; two sisters, Svetlana Maslin and Taisio Yaroshenko, both of the Ukraine.
The funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
