Lillian received her early education locally, and her Registered Nurse certificate from Notre Dame Hospital, school of nursing. Later and for many years she worked as a registered nurse at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. In her spare time, she enjoyed square dancing, and had been a member of the Heel and Toe square dance club, as well as many others.
Family members include a daughter, Diane Therrien, and her husband Roger, of Manchester; a son, Donald Dagenais, and his wife Baba, of Atlanta GA; 5 grandchildren, Debbie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Nathan, Elizabeth; 5 great grandchildren, Evan, Aidan, Benjamin, Alex, Sophia ; several nieces, nephews and cousins; she was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Ray, in 1996, and her husband Armand"Shorty"Dagenais, in 2000.
A funeral liturgy took place at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum on Thursday, November 5, 2009.
Memorial donations can be made in Lillian's name to the VNA Hospice, 33 So. Commercial St. suite 401 Manchester NH 03101.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester NH assisted the family with the arrangements.
