She attended St Jean the Baptist grammar school and was a graduate of Manchester High School West. She was a member of St. Anthony Parish, as well as a member of the Dames des Ste. Anne.
She lived in Manchester most of her life moving to Bedford to live with her daughter the last seven years.
For over twenty-five years, Lillian worked at the former Dorson-Fliesher Shoe Company.
In their retirement years Lillian and her husband enjoyed traveling in Europe, and throughout the United States. Lillian especially enjoyed taking cruises.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Family members include 3 daughters, Nancy Silliman, of VT, Lucille Lesmerises, of Bedford, Elaine Anderson, of Contoocook; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Bertrand Bilodeau of Manchester; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Theodore Doucette in 2003.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at St. Anthony Church,172 Belmont St. Manchester.
A committal service followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum,474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
