She was born in Bedford on August 1, 1917 to Hippolyte and Julia (Shiney) Douville. She was a lifelong resident of Bedford.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Guyette in 1946 and by her second husband, Raymond White in 1991. She was also predeceased by five brothers, Henry, Eugene, Kenneth, Raymond and Francis Douville.
The family includes three children, Edith (Guyette) Bishop and her husband, Gary, of Merrimack, Maureen (Guyette) Demers of Pinardville and Richard Guyette and his wife, Claire, of Merrimack; five grandchildren, Lisa Demers, Craig Bishop, Donna Wageling, Tracy Morley and Kristen Guyette; five great grandchildren, Megan and Kaitlin Bishop, Hunter Wageling, and Faith and James Morley; two siblings, Edna Fairhurst of Manchester and William Douville of Bedford; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Marie and Ben Eaton of Bedford.
A funeral ceremony was held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Private burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels and mailed to the William B. Cashin Senior Center, 151 Douglas St., Manchester, NH 03102.
