Lily G. Mailloux

Lily Grace Mailloux, 96, of Contoocook, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1929 in North Brookfield, MA to the late Gustaf and Lily (Skarberg) Almstrom.

Lily worked at Insight Technology until she retired in 2002. She enjoyed reading her bible, painting, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and playing piano. She was a poet and loved birds and dogs. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She even made their Barbie’s clothing. She will be terribly missed.

Lily is survived by her 5 children: Linda Evans and her husband Lenny of Londonderry, Cheryl Mosefski and her husband Henry of Litchfield, Susan Woodard and her husband Ken of New Boston, Eric Mailloux and his wife Donna of Sandown, Neil Mailloux and his wife Kim of Hopkinton; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lily is predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 51 years: Henri L. Mailloux; her daughter: Kim L. Mailloux; and her 4 brothers: William, Gustaf, Edward and Frederick Almstrom.

SERVICES: Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St. in Manchester from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Bethany Chapel Community Church, 54 Newbury Rd. in Manchester at 10am. Please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
