Lina R. Durant, 82, of Manchester, died July 9, 2002, at Ridgewood Center-Genesis Eldercare in Bedford, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Manchester, August 1, 1919, she was the daughter of Louis and Eva (Cote) Gagnon. She was a lifelong resident of this city.
She worked for Bee Bee Shoe Co. for 15 years.
She had been a member of St. George Church.
Family members include 3 sons, Henry Durant of Candia, Robert Durant of Bedford, and Richard Durant of Manchester; a daughter, Doris Stewart of Salem; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Cecile Dionne of Manchester; many nieces and nephews.
After cremation urn burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, New England Region, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.
Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., is in charge of arrangements.
