Linda C. Bennett

Linda C. Bennett, 70, of Manchester, passed away July 17, 2022, from bone cancer, at her residence.

Born in Manchester on April 5, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Ruth (Marritt) Bennett.  She was educated in Manchester and a graduate of Central High School, where she was a gymnast and earned her varsity letter.  Linda served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman 1^st Class in 1974.  She worked for many years as a personal assistant with Lynn Andrews, in various locations.

Linda loved to play bingo.  She was the kindest, most helpful person with a big heart.  She enjoyed nature, the beach and organizing gatherings and barbeques within her community.  She also loved her animals.  Linda was a Shamanic Witch and often would officiate services within various congregations.  Above all else, Linda will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She also played a significant role as grandmother to several surrogate grandchildren.

Family includes one daughter, Karen Herbst of Manchester; one son, Isreal Boley of Manchester; four grandchildren, Melody, Jayme, Alexa and Tristan; one great grandchild, Jasper; three sisters, Cathy, JoAnn and Margie; one brother, Danny; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by both parents; and one daughter, Jaime Lynn Boley.

SERVICES:  Calling hours are from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104.  A funeral service will take place at to 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Shiloh Church, 55 Edmond St., Manchester, NH 03102.  Internment with military honors to follow at to 1:30pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 DW Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:  Cystic Fibrosis Foundation NE Chapter, 114 Perimenter Rd., Nashua, NH 03063.
