It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Linda (Lu) G. (Boisvert) Hunt, 78, of Bedford, on August 24, 2022, at the Arbors of Bedford, after a period of declining health.
Linda was born in Hattiesburg Mississippi on December 25, 1943, the daughter of the late Maurice and Edna (Lemay) Boisvert. She worked for many years as a book keeper/accountant for the family business and later enjoyed owning a professional cleaning service and working as a clerk for various shops and stores.
In her free time, Linda enjoyed traveling the US, Canada and abroad, spending time with friends and family, gardening, creating artwork, completing puzzle books, playing Wizard with family, cooking and dancing to the oldies.
Linda was a joyful presence and filled her home with warmth and kindness. She had an amazing sense of humor, contagious laughter, and compassionate disposition. She had a deep love for animals and supported several rescue organizations. She loved everything about the beach – sites and sounds – and vacationed in Maine frequently throughout her lifetime.
Above all else, Linda will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Surviving family members include three siblings, Normand Boisvert and Wife AJ, Elaine (Boisvert) Walter and husband Al, Robert Boisvert and wife Carol; two daughters, Christine Fekay and husband Jeffery and Nicole Olmstead and spouse Michael; nine grandchildren, Melody Ribecca, Danielle Fekay and husband Jose Menendez, Nico Fekay and wife Raeanne, Rebecca Bilodeau, Sonia Bilodeau, Nathan Bilodeau, Alica Bilodeau, Celina Bilodeau, Jacob Bilodeau and Kaleighjo Bilodeau; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, William Bilodeau, one granddaughter, Rachel Ribecca, and both parents.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 at St. Joseph Cathedral, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester NH, followed by a 12:00 pm burial at her final resting place in Calvary Cemetery, Concord NH.
