Linda Marie Maltais, 70, of Manchester, died unexpectedly on October 3 after a period of declining health.
Born in Manchester on February 15, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Jeannette (Ryea) Maltais. She was educated in Manchester schools and was a graduate of West High School. She was a devoted worker at MailWays for many years, when it was stationed in Manchester.
Linda enjoyed bus tours, reading, eating out, visits with friends and relatives, and her devoted cats. She was a very good family historian.
Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend; she was her mother’s sole caregiver.
Family includes one nephew, Eric Maltais of Epping and his wife Joy and their daughter Ellycia; one niece, Sara Tarara and her husband Michael, and their children Nicholas, Genevieve, and Cameron of Fitchburg, MA; several cousins, and her dear friend Joan Frost. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, David Maltais in 2020.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11:00am in the old St. Augustine Cemetery, at the corner of South Beech and Alpheus Streets in the family lot. Lambert Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
