Linda C. Mortimer (born Linda C. Czaja), died Sunday, January 20, 2013 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Manchester, graduated from Memorial High School in 1968 and was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Linda was the daughter of Chester C. Czaja and Regina Krajewski.

After high school, Linda worked in the insurance industry in the Manchester area for over 40 years. At the time of her death, she was employed by Primex3 in Concord, New Hampshire where she worked in the workers compensation department. She truly enjoyed her work and her colleagues at Primex3.

Linda is survived by her husband, Michael R. Mortimer, her step-daughter, Sarah Mortimer of Bristol, RI and mother-in-law, Norine Anderson, of Middleborough, MA. Surviving close family members include her brother Stephen Czaja and his wife, Denise, and their children, Crystal and Brandon, of Candia; her brother Thomas Czaja of Manchester and his step children, Melissa Cocozziello and Greg Coulombe; her brother Frederick Czaja of Manchester and his daughter Angela Gaskell; a niece, Heidi Acevedo of Manchester and her sons, Jacoby and Samuel; her Aunt Nancy Montplaisir of Manchester and her children, Kim Coyle and Ronald Montplaisir, Jr. and cousins, Bonnie Hartley of Sandwich, Massachusetts and Ellen Czaja of Moultonborough, New Hampshire.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226.
