Lionel C. Goodno

Lionel C. Goodno, 46, of Manchester, died May 17, 2006, in the Elliott Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Manchester, on January, 14, 1960, and was the son of Ernest and Therese (Bilodeau) Goodno. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish.

He was a member of the Class of 1979, of Manchester Central High School. He served with the United States Army from 1979-1983.

Lionel was employed by the Manchester Water Works as an Emergency Technician for the past 18 years.

He was a member of the Jutras Post, the Steelworkers local #8938, and the Boy Scouts troop #106.

He was always first to lend a hand when others were in need.

Family members include his wife of 18 years Sandy (Hennemann) Goodno, of Manchester; 2 daughters, Sarah Goodno, Emily Goodno; a son Michael Goodno, all of Manchester; his mother, of Manchester; 4 sisters, Janet Corrigan, of Gorham, Flora Goley, of Northfield, Roxanna Drowne, of Raymond, Olivia Labor, of Manhiem PA; 2 brothers, Brian Goodno, Ernie Goodno, both of Manchester; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his dad, Ernest Goodno, in 1982, and a brother Nelson Goodno, in 1992.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday May 25, 2006 in Blessed Sacrament Church, Elm St. Manchester.

Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
