Lionel P. Lehoux

Manchester, NH – Lionel P. Lehoux 96, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on November 11, 1927 in St. Julien Comte de Wolfe, Quebec, Canada, he was the son to the late Oscar and Regina (Proulx) Lehoux. Lionel later settled in Manchester, and worked for Mount Calvary Cemetery for over 20 years until his retirement. 

Lionel had a passion for his automobiles, and was proud of detailing over the years. He enjoyed many vacations to Hollywood, Florida and trips back home to Canada to visit family and friends. He also enjoyed playing bingo with his wife, locally throughout their retirement. His harmonica playing and Jig dancing will be dearly missed. 

 Lionel is survived by his wife of 73 years, Rita (Isabelle) Lehoux; his two daughters, Helene Bouchard and her husband, Jean-Yves, and Nicole Laprise and her husband, Marc all of Manchester; four grandchildren, Vickie Gould and her husband, Bill of Chester, Brian Bouchard and his predeceased wife, Christine, of New Boston, Amanda Woods and her husband, David of York, ME and Ryan Laprise of Redmond, WA; five great-grandchildren, Brison, Josie, Gillian, Isabelle and Cooper. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his siblings, Gerard, Jeanne, Aline, Raymond, Maurice and Rosaire and Therese. 

 SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Sunday (3/17) from 10:30 am – 12:30pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St. Manchester, NH. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30pm in the funeral home Chapel. Burial will be private in the family lot at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
