Loretta R. Greenberg

   Loretta R. (Riner) Greenberg, 82, of Manchester, died June 3, 2024 at her residence at Riverwoods at Manchester, after a brief illness.

   Loretta, who was affectionately called “Lol” by those close to her, was born in Hartford, CT on August 4, 1941 to Herbert and Marion (Hallett) Riner.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire at Manchester and lived in Manchester and Hooksett for many years.

   Loretta retired as assistant registrar at UNH-Manchester.  She had been a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun in Manchester.  She will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

   She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest M. Greenberg in 2021 and a sister, Susan Daley.

   Loretta is survived by three sons, Gary Greenberg and his wife, Dawn, of San Jose, CA, Michael Greenberg and his wife, Mindee, of Nashua and Glenn Greenberg and his wife, Meredith, of Natick, MA; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother, Nelson Riner and his wife, Shelley, of West Hartford, CT; two nephews and one niece.

   Burial was private at Hebrew Cemetery in Manchester.  

   Memorial donations may be made to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund at Temple Adath Yeshurun, 152 Prospect St., Manchester, NH 03104.

   Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
