She was born in Manchester, March 25, 1914 and attended Manchester schools. She had been a resident of Goffstown since the 1960's.
Mrs. Doucet worked many years as a cashier at Champagne, Grand Union and several other area supermarkets. She also was a 17-year volunteer for Alcoholic's Anonymous mostly at the VA Medical Center in Manchester.
She loved cats and was an avid supporter of the Humane Society and it's affiliates.
She was married to Lucien L. Doucet, who died in 1986.
She leaves her daughter, Sr. Lorraine D. Doucet, CSC, of Manchester and the University of NH at Manchester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday August 24, 2007 at St. Pius X Church. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
