She was born in Manchester on April 13, 1976 and was the daughter of Robert and Claire (Bergeron) Silkman.
She was a graduate of Trinity High School and Hesser College. She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her children were her joy and she devoted her life to them.
She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Parish.
Members of her family include two children, a son, Steele Eckels and a daughter, Saige Eckels, both of Hooksett; her parents, Robert and Claire Silkman of Hooksett; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Silkman; one brother, John Silkman and his wife Emily; her mother in-law, Linda Eckels; her uncles, Lionel Carle, Henry Silkman, and Kenneth Silkman; several aunts; her nephews, Jon and Jacob; a niece, Juliah Silkman. She was predeceased by her husband Brandon Eckels in August of 2014, her maternal grandparents, Paul and Lucille Bergeron and paternal grandfather, Enver Silkman.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 225 Hemlock St. Burial will be in the spring in Martins Ferry Road Cemetery.
