Lorraine E. (Marsolais) Amlaw, 94, of Manchester, died January 23, 2018 at Evergreen Place after a brief illness.
She was born in Amesbury, MA on October 17, 1923 to Romeo and Mildred (Peltier) Marsolais. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Lorraine worked at Computer Vision and Foster Grant, both in Manchester, for many years. She had also volunteered at the Red Cross Blood Center.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, George E. Amlaw in 1983 and three siblings, Leo Marsolais, Paul Marsolais and Marcelle Vachon.
The family includes six children, Robert P. Amlaw of Manchester, Carol M. Bernier and her husband, Francis, of Hooksett, Mary L. Duhaime and her husband, Phil, of Merrimack, Lois J. Honey of Cottonwood, AZ, Jane L. Boynton and her husband, William, of Chester and James R. Amlaw and his wife, Bonnie, of Manchester; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; a sister, Diane Larochelle and her husband, Louis, of Goodyear, AZ; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Parish of the Transfiguration, 305 Kelley St., Manchester. Committal prayers followed in the Shaw Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford.
